I did my ice challenge for Motor neurone disease yesterday, after I was nominated by a friend. This is my video, it was cold but not as bad as I thought, and it's all for a good cause :).

Hungry birds, sparrows fighting over dinner

Yesterday one of my errands involved buying some more wild bird seed, as it turns out the sparrows are hungry, or greedy or both, and have quickly eaten all the seed I first bought :). At the same time I also bought them some fat balls from Home Bargains, and have attached one to my washing line. When we pulled up tonight after my husband collected me from work one little sparrow was happily pecking at it, while the rest fought over the seed :).

The video is an old one my husband made me when they were a bit more shy and i had only seen them once :).

Farne island photos

Last week I went to the Farne Islands, which is a group of Islands of the Northumbrian coast, it's a great place to visit and today I thought I would share some photos :)

Jaguar mk 11 with clk v6 engine first startup

My husband is renorvating a Daimler V8, it's one of those projects he has been going to do forever. This year though he is making good progress with it. He has decided to modernise it by putting in a mercedes clk engine, and this is a video of the first time he got the engine to start. The car is now back in pieces getting ready to be painted :).

Today has been a day of sorting things out, and trying to learn more about using blogger.

I also spent a bit of time on bubblews reading posts, and I was inspired to write a post about having never broken any of my posts, by another poster.
