Early May

May is another month which seems to be flying by, but I have already done some great things.

Wansbeck stepping stones

On the 1st of May my dad and me went to the nearby village of Bothal. We had a walk around and a look at the stepping stones. These ones are hard to get to because of the bank, but the stepping stones themselves are easy to cross if the river is quite low.

On the 2nd I went down to nearby Cambois, and took this photo of the beach looking across to Newbiggin. Cambois is my local beach, and somewhere I enjoy going, as it's a lovely quiet sandy beach.

On the 3rd it was quite cold and grey, my cat didn't like the weather and I got  this picture of her sleeping on my husband.

The weather on the 4th was a bit better, and I again took the oppourtunity to sit in the garden and enjoy a cup of tea. At the same time I was lucky enough to get this photo of a female robin, she was keeping a sharp eye on my cat.

On the 5th I told my husband we had to go somewhere so I could take my photo of the day, and he pulled in at nearby Earth Balance.. This is a small trout fishing lake.
